The Texas Board of Pardons and Parolees is reviewing if inmate Fred Yazdi should be released early. He was sentenced to 20 years and will have only served 10 years if he is released.
The way to help is to write a letter to the Texas Board of Pardons and Parolees AND/OR sign the petition.
Writing a letter will probably carry more weight (anyone can write/send a letter).
Please help us keep our son’s murderer in jail.

Hi Friends and Family,
I know its been a while! and I hope everyone is doing well. I am reaching out on behalf of the Recio Family and my best friend Enrique who was murdered 11 years ago.
The time has come, where his killer is now being reviewed for parole. We would like your help in protesting the release of Fred Yazdi.
Its amazing how you can kill someone and get such a light sentence. This is why our goal is to keep him in prison for the entirety of the prison term of 20 years. He has currently served 10 yrs for murder.
I think we should all be concerned about him being a neighbor of yourself or someone you know or a family member. This man bullied, and terrorized Avery Ranch and showed zero remorse.
If you google this story please ignore any imagery of Yazdi crying, it was all an act. I am Not sure why this imagery was/is shown online because that was not the reality of what we witnessed daily.
Before the proceedings began and judge and jurors entered the courtroom, he would make faces and attempt to intimidate myself and others and making crude gestures.
He did not care one bit, and I think this is an important detail to share of what a POS he is.
This is your chance to share your concern and keep him locked up for as long as the law allows. These letters/petition may actually save someone's life in the future.
